ITINERARY:

DAY 1: WELCOME TO INÍRIDA AND CONNECTION WITH THE SACRED RIVERS

• Arrival at César Gaviria Trujillo Airport in Inírida.
• Ground transfer to the main dock to board a boat.
• River journey along the Inírida and Guaviare Rivers to the impressive Fluvial Star of the East, where the waters of the majestic Orinoco River—also known as The Great Mighty One—are born.
• Visit to Amanavén, Vichada, a border trading village with Venezuela.
• Refreshing swim in the Atabapo River on a rocky island called Maviso.
• Continue along the river until reaching the impressive Mavicure Hills, where we will stay for three nights.
• Check-in to cabins with either a double or single bed.
• Traditional dinner.
• Informational talk about the region.

DAY 2: BITTER CASSAVA PROCESSING AND SUNSET AT MORROCOY HILL

• Breakfast.
• Visit to the Indigenous community of Venado to learn and participate in the preparation of Mañoco and Casabe, essential products made from bitter cassava.
• Lunch.
• In the afternoon, ecological hike along the Dugjin Trail, ending at Morrocoy Hill, a rocky outcrop perfect for watching an unforgettable sunset.
• Dinner at the cabin.

DAY 3: SUNRISE AT MAVICURE

• Early morning ascent of Mavicure Hill to watch the sunrise from the summit.
• Breakfast.
• Rest of the morning free to relax.
• Lunch.
• Canoe trip to spot pink river dolphins and reach the beautiful San Joaquín Creek, where we'll enjoy a swim in its reddish waters until sunset.
• Return to the accommodation.
• Dinner.

DAY 4: FAREWELL

• Visit to the Honey Route, a local project dedicated to raising native stingless bees (melipona bees).
• Lunch.
• Return by boat to the city of Inírida.
• Ground transfer to the airport.
• Farewell and end of the experience.
